I live not too ...I totally, 100% believe in ghosts. I live not too far from an old rock quarry that filled with water when the workers hit a spring and all the machinery is stuck at the bottom. It is a popular swimming hole now and has been for many years. There are ledges to jump off and every weekend that it is warm, you will find families there swimming. Now it is so deep that it is impossible to touch the bottom at the deepest part. However, years ago a little boy jumped off one of the ledges and he hit the bottom. His feet were tangled in the weed at the bottom and he drowned. Now, it's said that he haunts the hill where he died. Just a couple of years ago, my friends were shooting hoops at the old schoolhouse down the road from the quarry. One of their mum's called out and he had to go home. The other stayed a while and shot a few more hoops before ducking in to use the public toilets. While he was in the cubicle, all at once he heard a gush of water. When he came out, the whole row of taps were on. He quickly set about turning them all off before running outside to see if it was his friend pulling a prank, but his friend was nowhere to be seen. He went back into the toilet block and again, all the taps were gushing water. He ran home very quickly! My old primary school is a catholic school that is 100 years old. When I was in years 5 and 6, I was an altar server in the church, and it was my job to lock the church up of an afternoon before school finished. There were multiple times where I went down there and the windows and doors would bang open and shut all at the same time, things would be moved around and I would see silhouettes of people running across the walls. Eventually I convinced the teachers to let us lock the church in pairs, but even that didn't stop weird things from happening and often my friend and I would run back up to the classroom scared and in tears.
