Plymouth College of Art BA Hons Fashion Show 2014.

So the last three years have totally been worth it. It all came down to that exact moment above when my girl, Stacie strutted down the catwalk at the end of her BA Hons fashion show and my heart just leapt out of my cheast with pride for my best friend. Her final collection was amazing, as was many others. I love a good fashion show. Typically my camera wouldn't charge so I was left with ol phone camera again. Sozages for the quality again. Also sozages that I seem to have misplaced my list of artists and designers, so please if you can help, tag away in the comments and I'll add as I can!
So my date for the evening was the super snazzy Lois (that isn't his name but it keeps an air of mystery about him) who is Stacie's boyfriend (we're actually lovers, she has no idea.) We arrived a bit early for the main event so spent some time checking out the life drawing work. He found it a bit hard to look anywhere with the amount of painted penises around, but some of it was just spectacular. I'd wrestled this giant pretzel just before we left but bit my tongue the hardest I ever have in my entire life. If Lois hadn't been watching, I surely would've cried. It bled for absolutely ages and meant that for the next four days I could barely eat or drink. Harps just laughed. Prick. Fucking pretzel.
After a complimentary glass of champers, we settled down for the show. Practiced our best reaction faces to the models, just to put them off, and got ready to clap our little hearts out. (FYI- We did and it bloody hurt.)

I took loads more photos but they barely came out. There wasn't one single photo that I took of Stacie's Collection that was usable. Dang nabbit. Isn't there some amazing talent though? Please again, tag anyone below and I'll get them linked in!

Here are a few snaps of it in all it's glory though. Click on the images for credit.

And the only other photo I got. Proudest. Friend. Ever. Hire her. Now.

Batman Diaries #3 Meeting Pops. *With Strong Language*

Wassup Bitches! (Oh Batman, you have such a potty mouth!). Last week I got taken to the nail bar to chill with ma homeboys and get a manicure- ya know what I'm saying? (It appears though Batman has turned rather street.) This babe came out, I remembered her, maybe from that bar last month, maybe from that strip joint I was caught in the other year. She grabbed me in a way I like (far too much information Batman) and made ma nails all trimmed and badass. (Batman makes a terrible street-hooligan by the way.)

Then, suddenly this old fella gets brought to ma yard (...box) and this bitch is telling me he's ma pops. I'm telling them all, I ain't seen him since I was born, he ran out on my ma and left me and my hoe sister, Precious (Don't call her a hoe Batman, she's dead!). Gotta say mannnn, some shit's going down here for them to bring him out. He told me to wise up, stop acting the fool I am and chewing door frames, get ma act together and start a family. I told him "But pa, these fools had ma nuts removed". Then he bitch slapped me and said "You ain't no son of mine boy! I'm too old for this shit." And I was all like; "Ma nails look fly, lets bust out of this joint."

Crazy shit man.

So they finish off their bizz and we get rollin back to my crib. Ya'll know they got me a little summin summin for being such a creepy sick pimp. (you've been watching too much Joey Essex Batman. He is NOT gangster.)

Peace. (Oh dear)
Batz....(You're called Batman, idiot.)

Thankful Thursday!

Oh boy oh boy does it make you stupendously thankful to not be at work. Check me giving thanks before I even say hello! Hello! I've been busy busy and not being here for a few weeks means that I've accumulated quite the spoonful of thanks to give! Long may the joy and cheer continue, I say! Before this gets any more sickly sweet, let's jump right in.

1) Spaniel loving.- Doesn't need any explanation. Time with my ancient childhood pet, Polo, is awesome too.

2) Going ouuutt ouuttt.- (If you aren't a fan of Micky Flanagan you probably won't get that.) We were saying farewell to our good friend Oli who's off to serve our country. Cheers Oli! So yes, I ventured, I drank, I felt like a piece of meat hanging out to dry in Wetherspoons, and sang my little heart out at Rockband when we all came back to our house. I had a great time. Not so much the day after though.

3) Catching up on sleep. - This might seem a bit lame but SLEEP. IS. SO. GOOD. Like amazing. I feel like a different person with all these lie-ins. Anddd I've watched plenty of Jeremy Kyle. Winning.

Lastly, having the Bloglovin app on my phone, I've been stalking you all whilst I've been muted. Here  are some of my fave posts from the last couple o'weeks.

1) Tanya's dog Foxton is such a babe.
2) Leona's Sucky Sunday post was hilarious (as they always are!) I hate it when people walk all over the road. I genuinely think there should be a lane system.
3) Rosie's Nancy post.- What a super cute dress! Like I need it in my life. Seriously, always check out  Rosie for pretty things!
4) Becky's Wedding Planning: May: post was really pretty. Her rings look just perfect together. I'm so envious!
5) Michelle's Cinnamon French Toast with Nutella Recipe post made me drool all over my phone. Like actually drool. I'm sure I felt the weight absorbing though the phone, up my fingers and onto my thighs but I really didn't care. Food porn right there.
6) Ally's DIY Banana Ice Cream post. This is going to accompany my super french toast in a stomach bulging, climax. It's going to be amazing.
7) Lisette's Cacti post. I think Batman would kill himself if we had cacti in the house, which is a shame because they're awesome. I love Lisette's collection. House plants rule.

As always and forever, cheers to the brilliant Liona and Lisette for inspiring me to be more thankful.

It's Guy Love. via Youtube.com

For any Scrubs fans, this is just awesome. Man I miss Scrubs. Everyone knows that Zach Braff and Donald Faison are BFF's since that beautiful bromance blossomed for millions to see. It seems that recently, at a screening of Zach's new film, Wish I Was Here, he brought along his best bud and they treated the audience to a tricking perfect rendition of our favourite man-love tune. You're welcome.

Chile Students Debts go up in Smoke. Via Guardian.com

31 year old visual artist 'Fried Potatoes' claimed that he was researching for an art project, sneaked into a vault in a privately run, run-for-profit university and snatched the £297million worth tuition contracts. The university in question was closed last year, scamming many students from finishing their degrees and leaving them with the crippling debts that followed them
despite this. Interestingly, the university was rumoured to have been closed down due to money laundering claims. The documents were then burnt, the asked being transported around Chile in a specially adapted van, so as the public can see the evidence of these binding contracts/ art being destroyed. It doesn't necessarily mean that the debts have been wiped, however it makes it pretty damn hard to retrieve them.

So there you have it.
It's good to be back.

Guess Who's Back? And Adventures With Bimble...

Sozages to tell you that it ain't Shady, it's me! Hello wonderful blogging and non blogging friends! It's been almost three whole weeks since I just seemed to abandon you all and this little page. If you checked my twitter (@SophieHasNoName) in that time, you would have learnt that at very short notice, my best friend Stacie needed to borrow my macbook in order to finish literally the last week of university! I say last week, it turned into three. But hey guys, this ain't no party. This was serious stuff. So that is the story of my absence! Not as exciting as you'd hoped, I know. In the mean time, I've been having quite the ball because IT'S MY HOLIDAY! Not that it's been remotely sunny or warm AT ALL. I don't need no sunshine to have funsies! I've been up to so so much and I can't wait to catch you all up with my mega interesting time!

I've also been popping my thinking cap on. Having time away from my little corner of the web has made me realise a few things.

1) I want to/ need to include more art on my blog. More designers, artists and creative types that inspire me. Stay tuned for some very exciting posts next week!

2) I need to take my camera with me more. Pretty much all of my photos taken here are on my phone.  Not the best quality.

3) I wanted this to be a space for me to talk about things that I maybe wouldn't have the balls to talk about on Facebook, or would worry about offending someone. But if I'm not going to use this page as a way of expression on these sorts of things, what's the point? So buckle up chickens, it's gonna be a rollercoaster ride.

A couple (but certainly not the limits) of fabulous adventures on my time off, have included spending time with this extra chromosomed piece of hunk. Well maybe not hunk Bimble, but you're pretty fancy in my books. He came for a sleepover last week and the three of us (Harps inc of course) went to see X-Men Days of Future Past in 3D. Bimble loves the cinema, especially a 3D film. And let us all be a little open and honest here. Hugh Jackman in almost but not quite real life is RIGHT UP MY STREET. And Harps came along for the ride... It was such a great film, I'd thoroughly recommend it (who'm I kidding, I'd recommend a poster of Hugh Jackman.) I'm sure 3D films have got muchos better since I last saw one? Then I took a lovely just woken up selfie with Bimble. We're awesome.

Have any of you been to the cinema recently? If so, throw recommendations at me, I want to go again before we go back to work!

Missed you all!
