Dear Santa,

We all love a good Christmas list and although the festivities have been officially cancelled gift wise in our house this year (wedding saving is hard ya'll.) It doesn't stop me putting a little list together of what I'd love santa (I totally misspelled that as satan at first, don't want no gifts from that guy!). A surprising amount of footwear is needed this year, I'm fearing the cold weather and require some sturdy shoes to brave the elements in but also have had to abandon my slippers as an actual safety hazard. Of course there are some books thrown in there (and who am I kidding, I'll totally end up buying those for myself at some stage) and a few extra treats just because.

What are your Christmas wishes for this year? I'd really love to see some links below if you've made your wishlist yet?!

S/S Inspiration// Stripes & Trailer Park Boys

You know when you've watched so much Netflix that your wardrobe becomes a sort of homage? That's pretty much what happened when I clicked 'order' on Sheinside a couple of days ago. Too much of a wedding saving push and too much of a spending ban makes Sophie a grumpy terrapin (that's an actual known comparison to me when I'm grumpy!) And hey what's wrong with stripes on every outfit and a 90's nostalgia t-shirt with some Trailer Park Boys shorts? Summer here I come.

Oh and the thing that encouraged me even more was a discount code on instagram for 33% off using INST33.

Happy not supposed to be shopping, shopping!

A Birthday Wishlist.

With one week to go until I turn 23 I thought I'd compile a little wishlist if anyone out there would care to purchase me a little gift!? *tumbleweed rolls past* Anyway, with next year being the YEAR OF OUR WEDDING I can't help but pop on my practical hat and wish for a few items suitable for our wedding that we can get in advance. Mostly, it's just things I'd really like though!

1) Glass drink dispenser- Ebay.com- I actually want four or five of these for our wedding and the cheapest I can find them is around £20 each so if someone could buy me a couple as birthday gifts that's be great!

2) Paper honeycomb tissue balls- Notonthehighstreet.com- Once again for the wedding- in all colours and in mass please!

3) This jumper! I can't find it anywhere! Boo!

4) Grow your own blueberry jam kit- Notonthehighstreet.com- I've wanted a blueberry plant for a little while and saw this brilliant starter kit with two plants and some jars to make some delicious jam!

5) Shore Projects Watch- Shoreprojects.com- Ok, something I'd really like for myself is a good quality watch, I've been swooning over these for months.

6) Chopping board- Notonthehighstreet.com- Also a bit of a weird, adult gift but I've wanted a decent chopping board for a while and came across this rather comical chopper board.

7) Apple and Elderflower large candle pot- St Eval candle company- We were treated to the foggy pudding candle when we got engaged and it lasted until about a month ago which is damn good going in my books! They smell beautiful and the pots that they come in are perfect for little plants afterwards!

8) A Glass teapot- Whittard- This was on my Christmas list, alas it was not to be. Damn it GET ME THE TEAPOT!

9) Wicker picnic hampers x11- Anywhere but I found these as an example on Notonthehighstreet.com- Also for the wedding, though I'm not sure what I'd do after the wedding with 11 picnic hampers? Host giant picnics in the summer? Maybe actually...

I intend to be better with sending cards and being thoughtful this year with my friends birthdays. Pop yours down in the comments so I can add you to my diary!

A Christmas Wishlist (Oh and Early Birthday Ideas!)

Christmas is coming, the goose if getting fat...

Good evening festive friends, I'm sorry for my unplanned absence, after being stuck in bed with no voice and only Jeremy Kyle/ A Place In The Sun for company kept me too weak to come near my laptop- almost a week later and I'm on the mend! It means that I'm terribly behind on my festive planning and haven't even told anybody what I'd like to receive under the tree! I'm guessing that it's probably pretty late by now, but with my birthday fast approaching in January (the 15th if you're asking!) it's a bit of a Christmas and birthday list rolled into one!

I really have been pretty pretty pretty good this year.
Thanks Santa!

My Christmas Wishlist

EEEEEKKKKKKK! 20 DAYS TO GO! How damn fast has this year gone?! I have always been a bit of a Scrooge up until last year, Christmas had always been a bit overrated, never a particular good time of year and really...just...crap..However, last year I was proved completely wrong! I decided I was going to give it all one more shot and boy did I go for it! I watched every Christmas film on, made snowflakes, paper chains and decorations (which I am VERY excited about doing again on Sunday) and threw myself into the festivities! I loved it. I had an awesome time, and cannot wait for this year.

So the other day, Harp's family asked for our Christmas list...and well, it was hard. There just isn't anything I really want that I could think of. It's my birthday in January so I always keep my best list for then ;-). So I knew I wanted books (I always want books, see me on Goodreads) and then I ended up finding a few other pretty things...

There's this amazing book that I am more desperate to receive more than anything! It's called;

Raising Unicorns: Your Step-by-Step Guide to Starting and Running a Successful - and Magical! - Unicorn Farm

Doesn't that sound magical?!?!? And even better is the front cover! It's like it was made for me! I hope I get it! I'm gonna wear a sheriff outfit when I'm reading it and will keep you all up to date with my new money making scheme!

  • I also will be more than happy with a new watch! I've stopped wearing one in recent years, but I'm kind of looking for certain "everyday" jewellery now. Isn't this ASOS rose gold style 'globe' one beautiful?! I don't mind that the chronograph is just for show, it makes pretty decoration!
  • And to go with it, I found this adorable 'Hare & Wishbone' charm necklace from Notonthehighstreet.com Isn't it cute!
  • And to continue with my new mission to make our bedroom a bit nicer. These bed sheets from Debenhams are super awesome. I really like the tree print, but also the underside colour! Such a good yellow!
So please santa, here is my list. Nothing too much I don't think! I've been pretty damn good aswell if I do say so myself (and ooh a large scrapbook for wedding planning fun!)  Cheers matey!
